The Wood Brothers are one of those bands you don't have to learn to love. You hear them once, you love them for a lifetime. Their high energy, gypsy-like beats, and soulful sounds will guarntee you a good time.
Last night at Thalia Hall in Chicago, the Brothers (plus their non-blood brother, Jano) brought the heat the crowd expected. They played crowd favorites "Luckiest Man," "Postcards From Hell," "Shoefly Pie," "One More Day;" and threw in some catchy sing-along covers like The Band's "Ophelia," Tom Petty's "You Don't Know How It Feels," and even a little Michael Jackson "PYT (Pretty Young Thing)." And aside from the incredible crowd-pleasing tunes they played, Chris Wood danced through a wonder-luxe of rainbow lights while Oliver tore it up on guitar.
